If you search for halloween cards at Google you will won't be given an exact number of results - "about 25,000,000" is what shows up. Clearly halloween cards are very popular and have been so for around a hundred years. In the beginning these were picture postcards produced between 1905-1915. There were hundreds of different designs but they were based on the themes that are common today of witches on broomsticks, skeletons, pumpkins and black cats. Nowadays cardshops have a huge selection at this time of year, and free e-cards are offered by countless sites online.
